The Meeting
As Thomas was transferring to University of California at Davis, he startedchatting with one of the students online as he was interested in learningmore about the community he was about to join. During the course of manyconversations, Jill mentioned that she was thinking of taking a Tango danceclass with some friends at the University. Thomas, proposed to take the class with her and they agreed to meetduring the first session. The rest as they say is more or less history.Their friendship continued as Thomas and Jill spent many a long nightstudying at local cafes and weekend getaways. It was during thistime in 2001 that they started a steady relationship. Shortly after their graduation from UCDavis in 2002, Jill accepted a position in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jill, who knew she could not survive without Thomas' amazing cooking, convinced him to follow her to Hayward.

Onward and Upward
Thomas and Jill shared a love of computers, good books, strong coffee, theoutdoors, hiking, and animals. Jill gave Thomas his first bunny in Davis - whosince then, appropriately named DotCom, has become a permanent member of thefamily. When they were both accepted in graduate programs in San Diego, they purchasedtheir first home and began their trek south. In the course of their graduate education, the farm grew and currently stands at three rabbits, a chinchilla, a dog, and a cat.

The Proposal
In September of 2005, Thomas took Jill to Santa Barabara for aweekend of wine tasting and relaxation. The entire weekend, Thomas was plagued by one unending quest - the perfect spot to ask Jill to marry him. Over a romantic dinner he presented Jill with a beautiful ring and asked her to marry him. She happily accepted. They now look forward to spending their lives together, wherever it may lead them.
